Charming, charming, charming.
I loved the spacious Mews room, which was tastefully decorated and wonderfully clean. The staff truly elevated our experience—from the warm reception to Martin at the bar, who set the perfect mood for our photo with a cozy fire. The food was an absolute highlight. our meals were beautifully presented and bursting with local flavor!

Staying here offers beautifully decorated rooms with a warm and inviting touch, providing comfort that's hard to beat. The dining area impresses with an attractive ambiance, making meals a delightful experience.
The room had its quirks, like a rather chilly air or overly warm heat that was hard to regulate. Bathrooms could use a refresh. the shower curtain feels like a relic, and hot/cold taps were mixed up, along with a generally dated look. Breakfast was lukewarm with minimum toast options, and the mews building rooms faced the car park, not exactly scenic, leaving a bit to be desired for the price paid.

The food impressed with fresh bread rolls and top-notch room service, making dining a highlight. noise from nearby staff areas slightly disrupted the morning's tranquility, and the bathroom felt cramped. Despite these minor drawbacks, the attentiveness of the staff truly stood out during the stay.

Charming historic house with great service
I had a lovely stay at a beautiful and historic old house that’s been converted into a high-class hotel. The Mews room I stayed in offered plenty of space with a large bedroom and a separate sitting area, which was a delightful surprise. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the breakfasts were substantial and delicious. I felt a bit disappointed that some areas were cordoned off during an event, limiting access.

What a lovely hotel! The food was delightful, especially dinner and breakfast. I must say, the staff were chirpy and ever so friendly.
Just a tiny room, like a cozy shoe box! WiFi was about as reliable as a British summer—hit or miss!

The Mews room was really nice and super spacious, loved the separate lounge area. Super clean, and the big rainforest shower head was a highlight. They stocked up the complimentary drinks every day, which was cool. Loved having a little dressing room with an ironing board and hairdryer too. Only downside was the mattress was a bit too soft for my liking. Still, the place felt like a cozy little house.
